TRAINING BENEFITS REIMBURSEMENT

As a member of the Wisconsin Chapter of APWA and working for a municipality, you are eligible for reimbursement of costs associated with taking a course or seminar related to civil engineering, public works operations and maintenance, and public works management/ administration. The REIMBURSEMENT BENEFITS TABLE shows the amount of reimbursement eligible for members and non-members of APWA working for a municipality in Wisconsin. Up to $600 of a course fee is eligible for reimbursement as shown in the table.

Courses taken under the SUPERVISORY ACADEMY PROGRAM (SAP) do not require advanced approval for reimbursement. Clicking on SAP will get you to the University of Wisconsin web site with details on the program and course availability.

Courses other than those included in the SAP require advance approval prior to attending in order to qualify for reimbursement.

Upon completion of either a SAP or another course approved in advance, you must send verification of payment and attendance to the Education and Scholarship Committee chairperson listed on the Wisconsin Chapter website.

If you have any questions or wish to seek advance approval for a course outside the Supervisory Academy Program, please contact the current EDUCATION AND SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE CHAIR listed under Leadership on the Wisconsin Chapter website.
