Assistant Superintendent of Sewer Utility - City of La Crosse, WI
The City of La Crosse, WI is seeking to hire a full-time Assistant Superintendent of Sewer Utility. This management position maintains sanitary and storm sewer collection systems and flood control facilities, supervises staff, and assists with the general management of the Utility. Candidates must possess vocational/ technical training in wastewater treatment and collection systems and public works construction. Five years progressive sanitary and storm sewer maintenance, repair and construction experience required, with prior supervisory experience preferred; or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. Valid motor vehicle operator's license and certifications in CPR, First Aid, and confined space entry required. Candidates must possess a General Wastewater Operators' certification within one year of employment.

Starting annual salary for this supervisory exempt position is $52,832-$60,736 (salary commensurate with qualifications). The City offers a comprehensive benefit package including medical benefit plan, Wisconsin Retirement Plan, deferred compensation, life insurance, income continuation insurance, voluntary dental plan, paid holidays, vacations and sick leave.
