Milwaukee Selected to Host 2012 APWA Snow Conference

Milwaukee and the Wisconsin Chapter will play host to snow fighting professionals from throughout North America in 2012!!! The APWA Board of Directors selected the City of Milwaukee and the Wisconsin Chapter as the host for the 2012 North American Snow Conference to be held April 26 through May 2, 2012.

This is great news!! I express my sincere thank you to everyone involved in putting together the proposal to APWA, and assisting in hosting Brenda Shaver from APWA National back in June when she made the site visit to Milwaukee.

We will be forming a host committee in the near future to begin planning this event. It will take a concerted, dedicated effort to truly show case Milwaukee and the Wisconsin Chapter and we will be looking for many volunteers to lend a hand in the planning.
