The Wisconsin Chapter APWA annually appeals to member firms and partner businesses for sponsorships to help fund our educational and scholarship programs. We are sincerely grateful for any financial support in the past, and we humbly ask you to consider that kindness again in 2012. Suggested levels of support are shown on the attached schedule, which I am sure you are familiar with from past years.
Additionally, as you may already know, the Wisconsin Chapter of the APWA will host the American Public Works Association 2012 North American Snow Conference in Milwaukee. This event typically draws over 1200 participants from all over the United States and Canada. Hosting the North American Snow Conference brings with it significant benefit to the Wisconsin Chapter, and the City of Milwaukee, as well as some one time expenses. Aside from the considerable volunteer effort required, we anticipate the Chapter’s total cost of hosting the conference to be around $30,000. Therefore we are beginning the 2012 Snow Conference Campaign with a request to those companies that we have been able to depend on in the past. We are seeking your support in the form of contributions and/or break sponsorships, which are explained in the attached schedule.
Your company’s generous support will enable our local chapter to successfully carry out its mission, and to make the North American Snow Conference the best it can be.
