In summary, the conference will begin with a Wednesday night reception to meet and greet your fellow members and friends.The general agenda for the conference will follow the standard pattern for chapter conferences, with technical sessions through the day on Thursday followed by committee meetings and an evening banquet. Friday's agenda includes technical sessions and lunch, ending with door prizes. The conference also includes a Chapter business meeting, election and installation of Chapter officers.

Golfers! November golf is weather dependent, so if you are interested in a pre-conference round of golf, please contact Conference Host Brad Marquardt directly, Brad.Marquardt@ci.Wausau.wi.us

The conference will be hosted by the City of Wausau, with Brad Marquardt as Chair. Mike Lemens, as chair of the conference program committee and with the support of the chapter's committees, will coordinate the conference program and sessions with the conference host committee.

Lodging

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Jefferson Street Inn. The Room Block Name is: American Public Works Association. Be sure to mention the block name to receive the block rate. Reservations must be made directly with the Jefferson Street Inn, please call 1-866-855-6500. Reservations made online will NOT qualify for the group discount!

Executive Rooms $70.00 Single/ $109.00 Double Occupancy (plus taxes)

Luxury Suite $70.00 Single/ $109.00 Double Occupancy (plus taxes)

The block rates plus current applicable tax will be honored for the dates of the conference, additional nights before or after the main arrival date will receive the quoted block rate as well. Any rooms not reserved by October 14th will be released for general sale. The block rate may be available after the release date based upon availability.
