Solid Waste Management
2011 - 2014 Committee Chair: Rick Eilertson (City of Fitchburg)
The Solid Waste Management Committee is interested in pursuing and evaluating:
(1) Manner and methods of solid waste (trash and recycling) collection including staffing and collection costs,
(2) Pay as You Throw (PAYT) solid waste collection opportunities,
(3) landfill operations, and
(4) public education and outreach related to solid waste collection
