Do you have an exceptional Professional Manager, a talented Young Leader, or a distinguished Public Works Leader in your professional network? How about an outstanding individual within your community who can be nominated for the Wisconsin Chapter awards? And let's not forget those award-winning public works projects all across the State of Wisconsin! APWA National and the Wisconsin Chapter may not know about them, unless you send in a nomination!
Awards nominations are accepted from chapters, public agencies, private corporations, APWA's general membership and even the general public. Supporting documents and application forms are available below. Here is further information on the APWA National and Wisconsin Chapter award program types and criteria:
Wisconsin Chapter APWA Awards Program
Public Works Project of the Year:This award recognizes the partnership between the managing agency, the consultant/ architect/ engineer, and the contractor who, working together, complete public works projects. Nominations of projects can be made by the managing agency or APWA chapters.

William J. Rheinfrank Award:
This award recognizes a person or organization that has had a far-reaching, positive impact on public works programs, services, or policies through distinguished public service and commitment to their community and the State of Wisconsin.

Samuel A. Greeley Local Service Award:
This award gives formal recognition of honorary character to persons who have continuously served a local public or private agency, long term, in an official capacity and have contributed to the advancement of Public Works practice as a member of the American Public Works Association thereby improving the quality of life for those who live and work within that community.

National APWA Awards Program
All National Award submittals should go through the Wisconsin Chapter. Please submit the National Award forms, along with all necessary copies, directly to the Chapter by January 31, 2013. The chapter will submit the award documentation for National consideration.
