The Communications/website Administration Committee was started in 2010 to combined several chapter functions related to communications, including chapter-wide emails, use of the chapter website and social media applications, web conferencing capability and general overview of the newsletter program. The current committee chair is Jeff Mazanec, raSmith. Chase Kuffel, City of De Pere serves as Vice Chair. Detailed contact information for current committee members is available to the right.

In addition, several chapter members serving as technical committee chairs or their designees serve as "de facto" members of the Communications/Website Administration Committee to maintain their respective committee web pages on the chapter's website.

Mission Statement

The Communications/Website Administration Committee shall support the goals, objectives and activities of the APWA Wisconsin Chapter by maintaining relevant, accurate and timely information on the Chapter’s website.

Goals

The committee’s goals are to update website content, social media posts and Chapter-wide email messages promptly as information is provided and to serve the Wisconsin Chapter membership with a high degree of responsiveness. The committee shall also strive to advance use of the website, its associated tools and social media outlets to improve the Chapter’s effectiveness and efficiency.

The newsletter publisher is Cavanaugh Interactive who solicits articles for the newsletter, edits content, composes layouts and publishes each quarterly newsletter.
