The APWA Wisconsin Chapter's 2020 Virtual Fall Conference was the Chapter's first virtual conference event, with a mix of recorded presentations and live online sessions on November 4 and 5. The program included 11 technical sessions, plus an opening session and a Chapter Business Meeting. Ten of the technical sessions were recorded in advance and available on-demand for viewing, and then paired with a live interactive session with the presenter to review key points and respond to questions or comments. The 11th session was a live panel discussion and did not have any pre-recorded content.
The Whova mobile application used for the past several in-person Wisconsin Chapter conferences was again used to provide a base for the recorded presentations, agenda, session and speaker information and attendee interaction. Over 290 people registered for the conference and participated in an average of about four sessions each.
