The Wisconsin Chapter's Transportation Committee worked with several staff from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to prepare and deliver a WisDOT Local Program Project Process Development Process online workshop in June of 2020.
Roles and Responsibilities for WisDOT and Local Public Agencies have changed in the past few years to help create efficiencies and consistency in all regions across the state. This workshop highlighted those changes and overall process information with the goal of improving general understanding of the project development process and those steps in the process that are most critical to delivering a successful project.
Eleven presentations prepared in partnership with Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration, and the American Public Works Association (APWA) Wisconsin Chapter define the critical components necessary for a successful design project.
