       Conference Program


    The Conference Program Committee works with the host of each fall and spring conference to pull together program topics and speakers. The Conference Program Committee also works with the Chapter's various technical committees for conference program ideas, topics and speakers. 

    The committee membership changes each year, as it is populated by current Chapter Officer positions. The 2017 committee members are:

    CHAPTER AWARDS APPLICATION DEADLINE JANUARY 31st!

    The APWA Wisconsin Chapter Awards Committee chair is Sean Gehin from the City of Wausau through 2017. The awards committee is very active, managing several chapter level award programs each year and submitting APWA candidate individuals and projects for National APWA award program consideration as well.

    Information on each of the following Wisconsin Chapter awards is accessible from the AWARDS menu item above:

    National APWA Awards Program

    National Award nominations may be submitted directly to the National Chapter through the use of the on-line application. The Awards Committee of the Wisconsin Chapter would like to be notified of all nominations submitted to National APWA along with a brief biography by January 31 of each year. If requested, the Awards Committee will assist any applicant in preparing their application for a National award. Winners of the Wisconsin Chapter "Project of the Year" Award will automatically be submitted for a National award by the Awards Committee.

    The 2017 Chapter Newsletter Editor is Past President Ryan Amtmann.

       Communications Committee


    The Communications Committee was started in 2010 to combined several chapter functions related to communications, including chapter-wide emails, use of the chapter website and social media applications, web conferencing capability and general overview of the newsletter program. The current committee chair is Jeff Mazanec. Current committee members are shown on the right.

    In addition, several chapter members serving as technical committee chairs or their designees serve as "de facto" members of the Communications Committee to maintain their respective committee web pages on the chapter's website.

    • Newsletter - The chapter Past President is responsible for review of the Chapter newsletter content. The newsletter publisher is Cavanaugh Interactive who solicits articles for the newsletter, edits content, composes layouts and publishes each quarterly newsletter.        Public Relations


    The current Public Relations Committee Chair is Matt Bednarski (2017) from GRAEF Associates in Milwaukee.

    The Chapter's Public Relations Committee has been "re-tasked" with somewhat different goals and objectives as we have rearranged some of the Chapter's committees to better address today's needs. Look for further information here as the committee picks up its continuing responsibilities and launches new ones!

    CHAPTER SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
    Chapter and Conference sponsorship opportunities for 2017 are described in the letter below. The Chapter is also offering an opportunity to directly sponsor the Chapter's scholarship program. The letter provides an overview of this new program as well as details of all the Chapters sponsorship opportunities. The form is used for enrollment in the Chapter's various event and scholarship sponsorship programs.
