Description :This presentation will summarize the current activities of the Wisconsin Initiative on Climate Change Impacts, emphasizing the activities of the Infrastructure Working Group. Topics discussed will be progress in updating current and future conditions rainfall statistics, the results of a survey of infrastructure managers regarding climate change adaptation, and a summary of approaches to incorporating climate change adaptation and resilience in infrastructure planning. Speaker: Rob Montgomery, PE, is a water resources engineer based in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin. Rob has worked as a consulting engineer in Wisconsin since 1980, after receiving a BS in civil engineering from the University of Illinois-Urbana and an MS in civil engineering from Colorado State University. Rob also serves as an adjunct faculty member in the civil and environmental engineering Department of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Rob is currently serving as the chair of the Infrastructure Working Group, which is one of the ongoing activities of the Wisconsin Initiative on Climate Change Impacts.
